Event Details Farmer's Market@ Poplar Grove Plantation Date: 9/24/2008 Time: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Location: Poplar Grove Plantation, 10200 US Hwy 17 N, Wilmington, NC 28411 (View Map) Description: A variety of local fresh produce, seafood, herbs, baked goods, farm-raised beef, flowers, jams & jellies, plants, fresh fruit (in season), goat cheese, handmade items & more. Products and produce change according to availability and season. See the list of vendors for more information and feel free to e-mail us if you have a question about a particular product. Come enjoy the open-air market on the front lawn of the historic plantation under the big shade trees with plenty of free parking. We have wagons available for your shopping use and will be having special programs at the market throughout the year. The 3rd Wednesday of each month the Pender County Master Gardeners will be in the gazebo for a Plant Clinic. They will be there to answer questions about lawns, landscape plants, fruits and vegetables. You can bring sick plants, weeds or mystery plants and they will try to diagnose or identify them. Information about the Master Gardener program, newsletters and soil testing supplies will be available.
